What exactly is opposite lock? I am pretty sure it is basically the countersteer in the drift, but I’m not sure....

It is. The reason it’s used here goes back to some old semi-parody article making fun of overly-pretentious automotive reviews. I believe the line used was something like “can be corrected with a mere dab of oppo.”
I’m hazy on the exact history. Maybe someone can illuminate things further.
